Iteration is a repeating design meaning any and all size options are possible! This is a beginner level mosaic crochet pattern as it only uses FLODC and BLOSC. It includes a beginner’s guide to overlay mosaic crochet.

The PDF pattern is written in U.S. terminology and includes the full written pattern in a row-by-row format. There is also an X’d graph for those who prefer to read from a graph. The written format is in a new, easier to read layout! Included in the PDF are some color combination ideas and basic size instructions for a baby blanket, full-sized throw, and a twin blanket. The border instructions are included in the pattern.

Sizes and estimated yarn:
Baby: 35” x 41” (1,855 yards)
Throw: 50” x 60” (3,850 yards)
Twin: 60” x 91.5” (7,080 yards)

These are estimations of yarn needed, if you are unsure, it is better to purchase a little extra.

I chose to make mine with a 5mm hook and worsted weight (4 weight) yarn. I used Red Heart yarn in Amethyst, Pumpkin, Black, and Yellow. Using different weighted yarns and hook sizes will result in a different dimension to your project. It is perfectly fine to work with what you are comfortable with; just know you may need to add more repeats (or remove some) to suit your needs.
