Ithilien Hood – Crochet Pattern

Available in English (US) and Swedish!

Both language versions are included with your purchase.

Ithilien Hood is a soft and warm crochet hood with long scarf ends, inspired by nature and traditional Nordic craftsmanship. The design combines a cozy hood with a decorative leaf pattern that creates a distinctive texture and a nature-inspired look.

The hood is worked mainly as one piece, beginning with the ribbed cuff, which is folded lengthwise. The two scarf sections are worked from either side of the cuff before being joined to create the main length. The hood is shaped using short rows, with the decorative leaves gradually forming as you work. The project is finished with a small seam on the inside of the hood and a neat slip stitch edging along the back.

The pattern includes detailed written instructions, photographs illustrating selected parts of the construction and a leaf pair diagram to help you follow the decorative leaf pattern.
