NOTE: for this project, the written pattern posed some challenges: since I used scrap yarn, gauge, hooks and yarn are hard to elaborate on; as long as you keep using yarns of a similar thickness, you can use any size yarn and appropriate hook!
The appreciated yardage and gauge are therefor mere guesses, because it’s all dependent on what kind of yarn YOU want to use.

This is a scrap yarn project I finished this summer but haven’t gotten around to writing the pattern until now. It’s based on a simple granny square pattern and a simple lace-y-ish edging. I’d say it’s a project for an advanced beginner.

As I mentioned, use scrap yarn of similar thickness, but if you want to make the pillow’s backside like I did, you will need one whole skein of yarn weighing 50 g.
