This crochet cat plushie pattern can be crocheted and assembled in an afternoon. It’s big enough for hugs but small enough to be portable. This is the eighth pattern in the 4th Annual International Crochet Month Blog Hop.

One Size: Approximately 6.5” (16.5 cm) tall when stuffed.
Materials
Big Twist Value yarn (100% acrylic, 6 oz/170 g, 380 yd/347 m) – 1 skein each in Medium Gray (CA), Ivory (CB), and Magenta (CC), or approximately 25 yd (23 m) in CA, 15 yd (14 m) in CB, and 10 yd (9 m) in CC in any medium weight yarn.
US Size F-5/3.75 mm crochet hook, or any size needed to obtain correct gauge.
Locking stitch markers.
Fiber filling.
15 mm cat safety eyes - 1 pair in green.
Yarn needle.
Gauge
18 sc = 4” (10 cm) across. Exact gauge is not critical for this pattern. Stitches should be small so fiber filling doesn’t show through.
