“Itty- Bitty”
This neck shawl/scarf starts my new collection of work using 4ply mini skeins.
I want to create a selection of patterns using different numbers of mini skeins and not just the big pieces that use the yarns from an advent.
So Itty-Bitty is the first one and uses just one mini skein, which with the careful shaping I have managed to create a tiny shawl that’s just perfect for finishing an outfit or adding a little hug of warmth to your neck when you don’t want the bulk of a full shawl.
Its completed here in just garter stitch to make it accessible for a beginner to create something quick and easy, as well as those of you more experienced but looking for a small and quick knit.
I hope you enjoy the pattern and have fun digging out those mini skeins that we all have hiding away and turn it into something special.

The pattern is written row by row as all my designs are and contain no charts.
No specific yarn is listed apart from that it needs to be 4ply/sock weight

The design could be made bigger quite easily by adding another mini skein and working the pattern rows.
Its finished dimensions here are approx 10cm deep x 70cm wingspan.
