The Itty Bitty Bluue Bikini is worked in sections then trimmed with I-cords and linked together through I-cord bind offs. The sections are worked in flat lay, with gradual increases or decreases throughout the cups and bottoms to create shaping for the body

This pattern uses Chamade Contrepoint Yarn on US 4 / 3.5 mm needles

Skill Level: Beginner / Intermediate

1 strand of Chamade Contrepoint Yarn in the size No. 2.
1 (1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4) in 131 yds for the main
&
1 (1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4) in 131 yds for the contrast

You can also use Chamade Contrepoint Yarn in the size No.1
1 (1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4) in 131 yds for the main
&
1 (1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4) in 131 yds for the contrast

Using the same US 4 / 3.5mm needles.
This will result in a more supportive and thicker fabric. The cup and bottom width will increase slightly if you use No. 1 however skimpy coverage is still guaranteed.

Note - this pattern was designed with the use of Chamade Contrepoint Yarn in mind. It is a stretch yarn that is made and designed for long summers full of swimming and play. If you choose to use a yarn alternative to Chamade, it would be recommended to go up a size.
