Pattern Description from Marnie MacLean.com: “I was surfing the net one day and saw the most adorable item. It was a ‘Critter Cozie’ from Meomi.com. It looked like such a fun project that I went right to my yarn stash to see what moved me. I had a single, lovely ball of Sinbad, an organic billowy yarn with glints of sparkle like morning frost on a bed of moss. Pictures really won’t do it justice as the shine and subtleties are lost, but the result seemed perfect for the job. Now, my cell phone really doesn’t complain about the cold much, down here in Southern California, so a phone cozy wasn’t quite my speed, but a girl can always use something to carry her ID and a little cash in.

Work this pattern as is, or adjust to make a larger or smaller purse by adding stitches length or width wise. The eyes can be buttons or beads or both, and it can be adorned with bits of leftover yarn, fabric or leather.“
