Add a bit of cheer quickly and easily to your projects with these little creations! My search for a small enough butterfly using worsted yarn led to these four designs in three little sizes: Itty-Bitty, Itty-Bittier, and Itty-Bittiest! Of course, different yarn weights and hook sizes can be substituted, resulting in more diverse looks and a wider variety of sizes. A nice stash buster – just pick your favorite colors and flutter away!

Butterflies shown were made with Caron Simply Soft yarn and DMC 25 embroidery floss.

Finished sizes: ¾” to 1” across wings

Worsted (weight-4) yarn – wings: small amount, about 52” – 60” (1.4 – 1.6 m)
