This cute little cotton crop top is an ideal summer top for wearing down the beach or in the garden. It ties neatly at the neck and at the back, and so it is easily adjustable. The pattern is written for two sizes, in both UK and US crochet terms.

You will need two skeins of Rico Design Creative Cotton, although you could use any aran weight cotton yarn. You can make the top all in one colour, or there are instructions on how to change colour for the shell pattern, if required, in which case you would need one skein in your base colour and another skein in your second colour.

Hook size 4mm to ensure the stitches don’t leave gaps to see through.
