Down a country lane stands a lovely Ivy Cottage. Braids of ivy twine their way up either side of the diamond lattice windows. Soft light shines from within offering comfort and warmth. On a spring day you can almost smell the damp earth and fragrant flowering vines. Who lives in the Ivy Cottage? Listen closely. You may hear the whir of a spinning wheel, the shush of a shuttle being thrown, or the click of needles. It’s a happy place.

The Ivy Cottage Ruana is easy to knit. No cable needles or seaming
involved. It’s as easy to wear as it is to knit; just throw it over your
shoulders. Embellish with a shawl pin to close the front, belt it, or just let it drape naturally.
