The Ivy Knit Sweater is designed to be comfy, chunky and cropped - with baggy balloon sleeves. The edges are knitted in a 1x1 rib, with the rest of the sweater designed using a simple knit stitch.

This is a simple, fun and quick knitting pattern that is great for beginners.

The pattern is worked from the bottom up and is knit flat on circular needles to cater for the larger number of stitches, but straight needles can be used if desired. The body (back and front) are both knit separately, as well as the two sleeves. Each piece is then joined later using the mattress stitch method.

This sweater is knit on sizes 4 and 5mm circular or straight needles. You will need a circular 4mm needle to knit up the ribbed neckline.

This pattern comes in sizes: small, medium, large and extra large!
