This heirloom vintage-inspired afghan is the perfect baby shower gift.

The techniques used include Puff V St, TR Cables, FLO/ BLO, some mosaic-style over lay for the embellishment, and FPDC/BPDC. The finished product is textured and flowy with a great drape.

The Ivy embellishment around the border gives it a unique flair that will be cherished forever.

The gauge isn’t super important, but the finished object comes out to about 39” X 39”.

The pattern requires 4 Skeins of a main color, I used Craftsmart in “coral” because of color options, but any worsted weight yarn will do. An additional skein of a coordinating color is also required for the border. I used Lions Brand Pound of Love in “White” for this.

Other materials include a 6.00 mm hook, scissors and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
