The skirt is designed with -2 to 2 inches (-5 to 5 cm) of negative to positive ease at the waist. Sample shown is knit in size S. If in between sizes, select the smaller size, as there is a lot of stretch in this project (can stretch up to 20% larger).

MATERIALS

685 (750, 810, 930, 1040) (1150, 1305, 1440, 1535, 1625) yds / 625 (685, 740, 850, 950) (1050, 1190, 1315, 1400, 1485) m of DK weight yarn

Sample uses Summer Camp Yarn Marshmallow DK in Fiesta (100% Merino), 246 yds (225 m) per 100-g skein.

Any DK weight yarn can be used for this pattern as long as it matches gauge.

NEEDLES
For waistband: US 6 (4 mm), 24- to 60-inch (60- to 150-cm) circular needles
For skirt: US 9 (5.5 mm), 24- to 60-inch (60- to 150-cm) circular needles
For drawstring: US 4 (3.5 mm) straight or double pointed needles
