A cable motif adorns the body of the hat, divided with sections of ribbing for character and interest. This 4 stitch cable is fairly simple and can be done without a cable needle for those who are familiar with the “pinch and shuffle” technique. Pattern includes written and charted instructions.

Needle 1: US6 / 4mm 16” circular needle
Needle 2: US8 / 5mm 16” circular needles
Feel free to use your preferred needle style for working in the round - Circular Magic Loop, DPNs, etc

Gauge: 11 sts x 16 rows = 2” in body pattern on larger needles

Notions: Darning needle, 1 stitch marker for BOR, cable needle, scissors
