Snowflakes, winter magic, enchanted forests, and dreamy colors. The Izotz hat was inspired by the Izotz Sweater and by the traditional knitting motifs.

The pattern uses very little of the contrast color so you can easily use a mini skein or leftovers. Stranded pattern is charted only.

MEASUREMENTS
One size.
Circumference: 18” (46 cm); to comfortably fit average adult head sizes 20-26” (51-66 cm).
Length: 9.5” (24 cm).

YARN
Fingering weight yarn in two colors, approximate amount:
Main color: 190 yards (174 meters)
Contrasting color: 84 yards (76 meters)

NEEDLES
US 2½ – 3 mm

  • 16” (41 cm) or shorter circulars.
  • a set of double pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

GAUGE
32 sts and 32 rows 4” (10 cm) in stranded pattern in the round.
