When I was a kid in Buenos Aires, I used to play on the swings of a park trying to reach with my feet the big Jacaranda tree branches. I can still re-member the scent of those beautiful pale indigo flowers . The Jacaranda tree represents wisdom, rebirth, wealth and good luck .

CONSTRUCTION NOTES

Jacaranda Shawl is an asymmetrical triangular shawl. Is worked flat and starts from the left tip towards the right one. With a beautiful Garter stitch body and two knitted-on edging with leaves side by side and a mohair ruffle that mimics the Jacaranda flowers. It has a row of eyelets where you can add a ribbon or leave it without it.
This shawl is very easy to wear, you can wear it around your neck with two long tails or wrap it twice around your neck and shorter tails. To wrap the shawl twice, you place one of the tails on one of your shoulders (the length of the tail should be the length you desire it to be) then wrap the rest of the shawl around your neck twice or just simply on your shoulders covering your back.
You can use one colour, or different colours. Have fun planning your shawl!
