Happy Halloween! What better way to celebrate than a turtle?! Check out my other turtle patterns for Halloween: Jack O’LanTurtle and Turtle Pocus!

This pattern allows for minimal sewing because that’s my least favorite part! The shell bottom and legs are crocheted directly into the bottom. This pattern is made for a confident beginner-intermediate level crocheter

10 page pattern in an easy to follow chart format with pictures for each section.

Materials Needed:
Size 4mm crochet hook
Yarn weight 4: Any colors you desire! I used “Yarn Bee“ in white and black
Safety eyes - I used 10mm
Polyfil stuffing
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker (optional)

Stitches and Abbreviations:
R - Round
St - Stitch
Sts - Stitches
Dec - Decrease (1sc over 2 stitches - see notes)
Inc - Increase (2 sc in one stitch)
Ch - Chain
Sc - Single crochet
Slst - Slip stitch
Sk - skip
BLO: Back loop only
-: repeated portion

Each piece is worked in continuous rounds except the tail

Turtle measures approximately 3 inches tall and 4.5 inches long.

Legs are worked through the wrong side or from the inside, outward of the leg space.

For the shell top. Follow the color change pattern provided to crochet the face design. After the increasing rows, the pattern will give a number and letter that represent the number of scs and the color for those scs.
