The garment is a very versatile and stylish shawl, that can be used as a scarf around the neck or placed around the shoulders. I thought of making a long accessory that can be used together with a jacket or a coat in winter time, but at the same time, a shawl that can be used on cold summer nights. The yarn and the color called for a lovely open stitch that works in favor of the drape, making it light and comfortable to wear. The final result, with the fringe, has a 70’s feel to it; one of my favorite artists is Nancy Sinatra and her version of the song Jackson came to mind when finalizing the design.
