I attended a very small town craft show and happened across a vendor with this most beautiful 100% Merino wool she had hand-dyed herself. Turns out she is also on Ravelry as seaJaes. I enjoyed every minute spent on this project. It is ever so soft as well!

There seems to be some confusion as to the term “work the stitches as they present”. If the next stitch looks like a purl, purl it, if it looks like a knit, knit it. Rows 2 and 4 Purl between border, Rows 6 and 8, Purl 3, K6, P6, K6, P3 between border. Hope this helps.
