Jacquard, I was inspired by it in my local yarn shop which was then located in Ystad. Where I was as
often as I could to buy yarn, talk needlework, feel and pinch all the wonderful yarns there were. The
yarn store not only had yarn, but also fabrics, sewing machines and other crafts. When I saw the
Jacquard fabric hanging among the fabrics for the first time, I was so surprised by how beautiful the
fabric was that I stood still and looked at it for as long as I could. It was so adorable and beautiful.
What popped into my head right then was to memorize the jacquard pattern and create something
out of it. All said and done, here is the Jacquard sock. An adorable sock that has a beautiful geometric
pattern.
