This sweet little fella is the symbol of Canada, and an adorable softie (just like any good Canadian should be!)

Jacques is knit in the round from nose to bum. The tail, feet, and ears are knit separately, and sewn on later. The nose is sewn on, but you could use a plastic attached one. The eyes are snap ons. Here are some of the techniques you will learn to make him (instructions in pattern):
German Short Rows
Emily Ocker Cast On
Turkish Cast On

You’ll need DK yarn. I used Lizzie-Anne Yarn DK

You’ll also need stuffing to make him sooooo squishy!

This pattern is free until we are set free… whenever that is. Just add it to your cart, and it will come up as $0.00 when you purchase it. Just keep knitting, knitting, knitting…
