This poncho is worked in the round with the wrong side out and then inverted when complete. This is due to the textural nature of the stitch pattern, it wants to pop to the wrong side of the work!

The pattern as written creates a nice length which covers our model’s elbows, but can easily be modified to make a longer or shorter garment. The simple stockinet/reverse stockinet edging can also be extended if desired.
