Jade Top
The Jade Top is stranded colorwork tee reminiscent of Chinese landscape painting and jade carvings.
Construction
The Jade Top is knit flat in separate back and front panels. After knitting the back panel, the left and right shoulders are picked up for the front. Once both back and front panels are completed, they are seamed together at the sides. Additional hems are worked for the neckline and armholes.
Gauge
Using 3.5 mm (US 4) needles, 28 sts x 34 rows per 4 inches x 4 inches (10cm x 10cm) in stockinette.

Sample is shown in size 1 using Fiber Optic Yarns Kashmir (420yds/114g) for both the MC and CC. The MC is in the colorway Fir (1 420 yd skein) above the under arm, followed by the gradient colorway Fir to Frost (1 255 yd skein per back/front panel) below the underarm. The CC is in the colorway Cortez.
Needles and Notions
This pattern uses 3.5mm (US 4) needles for the body and sleeves, and 3.0mm (US 2.5) needles for the hems. A tapestry needle and stitch markers are also needed.
