This pattern is a great stash buster! Great for adventurous beginners to more advanced knitters! I call it my Jaden Fingerless Mitts, since I was inspired by the Jade-like color of the yarn. They feature a faux fair isle pattern that is created by the yarn itself, so they look much more difficult to make than they actually are! Your friends will all be amazed when you tell them you made them! Also, they are great for men or women - so they are great for gifts as well!

Construction Overview: This pattern is begun by casting on at the wrist, working the palm and back of the hand to include a thumb gusset. Then, set the thumb on hold until the hand is worked. Finish the thumb, then return to pick up stitches from the wrist and work ribbing in the opposite direction creating a cute cuff with a rolled edge at the base of the hand.

Sizing: This pattern is written for a women’s small/ medium at a rather tight gauge, resulting in a springy, resilient feel to these mitts. Therefore, if you want a larger size, you can use a slightly larger needle for a larger gauge, resulting in slightly larger mitts. I also include notes in the pattern where you can make custom sizing adjustments.
