The Jaki Sweater is a simple sweater worked from the top down in stockinette stitch. The design has a slightly shorter fit, which can be adjusted to suit your preference. It is constructed from the top down and shaped with German Short Rows. The sweater ends with a rolled edges at the collar, hem, and cuffs.

It is constructed from the top down. To start, the back shoulders and the back neck are shaped using short rows, then worked flat to the underarm. Then, pick up and knit stitches along both shoulder seams and work the two shoulder sections separately. Join the shoulder sections by casting on new stitches at the center front and finish working the front section. Now join the front and back sections and work the remainder of the body in the round.
The sleeves are worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the armhole openings. The sleeves are worked in the round. At the end, the stockinette stitch funnel neckline is worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neck opening
