Pattern Notes
This tunic style garment is knitted in the round from the bottom up as far as the armholes. It is then divided into front and back sections which are then knitted back and forth. The shoulders are joined using a three needle bind off and then the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and knitted downwards in the round. The neckline is knitted with an unusual i-cord edging that requires an additional DPN to be used. A moss (seed) stitch panel is worked across the shoulders and garter stitch edging is worked around each armhole. The body and sleeves have false seams created by working a purl sittch at the seam points. Both a chart and written instructions are provided for the lace pattern along with written instructions for the pattern. The sample shown in the photographs is the second size, worn with zero ease. It is suggested you choose a size with approximately 4-8cm (2-3in) of positive ease.
