Janas is an easy making triangular shawl.
The asymmetrical shape starts from the right corner of the shawl and grows with increases and decreases from the edges. You can keep repeating until you reach the desired dimensions of your work, but remember that in this case you will need extra yarn.
Its beauty lies in its simplicity.
This shawl was made during my holidays in Sardinia, for this reason I thought of a typical Sardinian name “Janas” which according to some legends was the name of the fairies/witches who lived on top of the nuraghe and spent their time weaving with a gold loom. They were benevolent and gave free aid to anyone who asked for it.
