Jane Hood
I designed this hooded scarf for myself after picking up some gorgeous natural wool from my local farmers market. It’s a fast and fun knit using modular construction with a heavy worsted or aran weight yarn and it’s finished off with a lengthwise garter stitch scarf. There are also notes for customizing the perfect fit along the way!
SIZE OPTIONS
25 ½” hood opening, 6”, 7”, 8”, 9” hood depth, 83”, 84”, 85”, 86” scarf length.
64.7 cm hood opening, 15.2, 17.7, 20.3, 22.8 cm hood depth, 210.8, 213.3, 215.9, 218.4 scarf length.
MATERIALS
300-370 Yards (275-339 meters) Aran or Heavy Worsted Weight yarn.
US 8 24-40” (5.0 mm 60-102 cm) Circular Needles.
1 Stitch marker.
GAUGE
With US 8 (5.0 mm) 14 stitches and 22 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch.
