The Jaseron socks are knitted from cuff down.
The socks are knitted with an interesting stitch pattern throughout the leg and the foot.
The textured stitch pattern rhythm the work and creates a delicate relief, giving the impression of a light lace.
Two types of heels are available: a traditional heel flap and gusset or a german short-row heel.
The heel flaps are knitted with a reinforced stitch pattern for durability. Instructions are given for modifying the gusset for a more generous fit.

All techniques are explained in the pattern.
The pattern also includes the written instructions for each charts.

Sizes
Child to adult.
Finished foot circumference (17,5; 20; 22,5) cm / (7, 7.75, 8.75)’’ including the intended negative ease of 1 to 4 cm / 0.4 to 1.5 ‘’.

The pattern is written for a (56, 64, 72) stitch count.

Beware, the stitch pattern can slightly change your gauge. Be sure to take this into account when choosing your needles and the size you will work.

Yarn
fingering or sport weight yarn.

Please note the whole pattern is knitted in circular, so it is preferable to realize a your gauge in round.

Needles
2,5 mm / US 1 circular needles.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Les chaussettes Jaseron se tricote de la cheville vers la pointe, en circulaire. Un point texturé rythme l’ouvrage et crée un relief délicat, donnant l’impression d’une dentelle légère.

Deux types de talons sont proposés, un talon en rangs raccourcis à l’allemande ou un talon renforcé avec gousset.

Vous pouvez retrouver tous les diagrammes utilisés dans ce modèle en annexe ainsi que des astuces pour comprendre comment lire un diagramme.
Le patron comprend également les instructions écrites de chacun des diagrammes.

Tailles
• Enfant à Adulte.
• Tour de pied fini (17,5; 20; 22,5) cm / (56, 64, 72) mailles.

Pour choisir la taille, mesurer le diamètre du pied au point large, juste après les orteils puis opter pour une taille légèrement inférieure de 1 à 4 cm d’aisance négative.

Attention pour les habitués du tricot chaussettes, selon la manière dont vous tricoter, le point utilisé dans ce patron peut modifier votre échantillon. Pensez bien à le prendre en compte lorsque vous choisissez vos aiguilles et la taille que vous allez tricoter.

Fil
nécessite une laine à chaussette ou un mélange de fil de type fingering.

Le modèle de présentation a été tricoté avec les laines « LangYarns » dans la base « Jawoll Silk», 55% Laine vierge SW, 25% Nylon, 20% Soie 200m/50g, couleur n°150.

Métrage estimé 
entre 250 et 400 m.

• 32 mailles x 44 rangs = 10 cm par 10 cm après blocage en jersey.

L’ensemble de l’ouvrage est tricoté en circulaire, il est préférable de réaliser un échantillon en rond.

Matériel 
Aiguille circulaire en 2,5 mm ou de la taille nécessaire pour obtenir le bon échantillon.
