A well rounded yarn with good stitch definition is recommended, eg a merino, cotton or bamboo mix.

Tension: 20sts and 30 Rows to 10cm. Measured across whole blanket

.3.75mm Needles.
Yarn Needle.
2 stitch markers if required.
Other weight yarns could be used but size of blanket and yardage would vary.
Use needles 0.25mm smaller than recommended on ball band.
