This hat was created by me based on a hat Jason Mraz has worn a lot, which was made for him by a fan. It is not the pattern that was used to make the hat Mraz wears, but it just based on that hat to make something similar.

Also, no gauge was taken for the example, but it is loose, so knitting the band on smaller needles or decreasing the stitches cast on by a multiple of 6 (and decreasing the number of repeats between cables) might be helpful.
