Pattern Notes
-Cast on; I like to use the Twisted German cast on for socks, the little extra twist in the cast on makes a really stretchy edging for the cuff.

-Increasing stitches for the patterning; I have you increase stitches after the ribbing to account for the less-stretchy slipped stitch pattern, you’ll be decreasing back to the cast on stitch count afterwards.

-No waste yarn- the Kirbywirby method is a ‘cut in’ heel and does not require you add waste yarn as you knit past where you will be inserting you heel. If you have not used this cut in heel method previously it would be very helpful to watch the video before starting the sock. Don’t be nervous to cut your knitting, this is a
fun technique.

Happy knitting
