This is the sixth square released for the In Mawwi blanket, this pattern was originally released as a graph on an ELCG (East London Crochet Group) worksheet in 2023, I have now added the written instructions and added the photo of the reverse of the square as well as the front.

This square is worked in Interlocking/double filet crochet from the bottom up.

Double Filet crochet is very similar to interlocking crochet where you work two filet nets interwoven, and this square is a great example of this with the centre section of the square front and back being clearly separate.

I would recommend working in high contrast yarns especially if this is one of your earlier attempts at double filet/interlocking crochet.

There are no instructions for joining the squares, every one has their own preferences but I use the standard front lacing method that the ELCG use.
