The Jeans & Puffs Cardigan was designed to look cute over denim dungarees – don’t babies just look gorgeous in denim and chambray!

Working top down from the rounded yoke, there are two rows of puff stitch in the contrast colour and a line of them down each sleeve. The peter pan collar softens the style and echoes the contours of the round yoke.

As with all my designs, there is very little sewing - just the buttons in this case.

There are 7 sizes from newborn to 24 months.

The Stonewash DK yarn by James C Brett has a lovely variegated colourway (unimaginatively called SW4!) which has a denim blue in it with pinks and greys. Stylecraft Special DK in Denim picks up on the blue to give a lovely contrast.
For Newborn (3m, 6m, 9m, 12m, 18m, 24m) you’ll need approx: 70g (80g, 100g, 125g, 150g, 175g, 200g) of the main colour and 40g (40g, 50g, 60g, 60g, 70g, 80g) of the contrast colour.
4-5 Buttons pick out the pink to complete the look.
