Jean’s Cowl
Why not knit this sweet little, warm weather beaded cowl? It’s easy and fun adding beads to your knitting with this straightforward method. I hope you enjoy it!
Named after Elizabeth’s mom, Jean (and my mom, Jean), it is approximately 5” deep x 25” in circumference. Gauge: 5 sts./in.

Note: I’m pretty “Bead Happy”, but beading this cowl is optional. Simply eliminate bead placement instructions and carry on:)

Materials
1 skein of Calista from Classic Elite. 142 yards. 100% mercerized cotton. Or one skein of Plymouth Driftone.
Or same yardage of any smooth stranded dk weight yarn.
Size 8 circular or straight needles, in any length.
400 TOHO 6/0 round seed beads. Stitch marker. Yarn needle. Beading surface.

Thank you to Barbara, who is modeling Jean’s Cowl knit with Plymouth Driftone.
