Mosaic overlay pattern.

Jed is an elegant pattern that lends itself to a variety of colour options. You will need at least two colours to make the pattern pop.
The pictured baby blanket was created using 8 ply (DK) yarn from Bendigo Woollen Mills in Luxury Cream, Sunflower and Koala, and Classic Pale Eucalypt.

Colour A, the pattern colour, including the double border, 300g or 600m.
Colour B, the background colour, including the double border, 500g or 1,000m.

I used a 4mm hook for the body and a 3.5mm hook for the double border.

You can use any yarn you like for this pattern and a hook that suits your yarn.

You can use the Jed pattern to make a range of projects from throws, scarfs, or cushions. The pattern is continuous and worked flat in repeats, so you can decide on the width and length of your project.

The pictured baby blanket, including the double border and after blocking, measures 85cm(W) x 95cm(L).
