Jeep the Bear
The finished bear measures approximately 60x22x55cm. The pattern includes photos, helpful notes and modification ideas.
This is an advanced-intermediate pattern. Skills you must have:
Chaining
Single crochet
Double crochet
Increasing/decreasing
Working in a magic ring
Slip stitching
Casting on, weaving in and finishing off
Reading arithmetic expressions
Making modifications against spiral drifting (notes will provide placement tips)
Materials:
+/- 900g/1080m brown bulky chenille yarn (weight 5) (or primary color of choice - for the body)
+/-20g/24m black bulky chenille yarn (weight 5) (or secondary color of choice - for paws, nose and eyes)
Optional: worsted weight yarn of matching colors for easier sewing
+/-2000g polyfill
Large needle for sewing, weaving in and embroidery
6mm hook (or the hook that best matches the gauge)
Scissors
Stitch markers
Recommended: safety pins for blocking out parts before sewing
Gauge: 14sts/13 rows for 10x10cm
