Jekyll & Hyde
-I started designing this pattern planning to do a simple split color beanie, but the prototype looked plain, so voilà! Stripes. Its a good fall pattern, not too bulky, but the wide folded brim adds some extra warmth over the ears. Feel free to let me know if you have any issues- this is my first intarsia pattern.
-This pattern uses a mix of German Twisted Cast-On and Intarsia Cast-On (links to helpful tutorials included in pattern)
-The measurements used in this pattern will fit a 23” head. To increase or decrease a size, do so in an 8 st count (how this effects sizing and shaping is included in pattern)
-For the sample made in the pattern, I used Lion Brand Basic Stitch in the colors Russet Heather for the main color, and Pine Heather for the stripes. You will need 125 yds of your main color, and 45 yds of your stripe color for this pattern.
