Jeol sweater is worked from the top down without any need for additional finishing. German short rows are used to shape the neckline and it is worked simultaneously as the neck rib. Afterwards the shoulders are formed with increases and then the back and front are knitted separately before they are joined together. The colourwork pattern on the body and sleeves are knitted by chart.

Size 1: XS/S/M, (2: L/XL/XXL)

We recommend to choose the size you’ll normally wear.

NOTE: If you are between two sizes, it depends on how oversized you want the look of the sweater. The measurements on the upper body are not given, as the sweater’s measurements are misleading due to the dropped sleeves. Instead, the measurements are measured across the body right under the armhole: size 1: 2x60 cm and size 2: 2x70 cm

Materials and gauge

The jeol sweater is knitted with 1 strand of Isager tweed and 1 strand of Isager silk mohair. Knit the sweater holding the two strands of yarn together as one.

Gauge: 17 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette on needle 5 mm.
