The pattern is written out for adult woman size but it includes size adjustment notes that will allow you to adjust the width or head circumference for any size from babies to adult men.

The gauge is set as 17 sts x 16 rounds in houndstooth stitch pattern.

You will need 2 balls of main colour with 1 ball of contrast colour for the adult woman size and 4 mm crochet hook. The faux fur pom pom is optional but finishes it off nicely.
