This pattern I wrote down as I went, I tried very hard to make sure it was written as how it was done, if you have any trouble feel free to comment and I will try my best to help you :)

For this pattern I used:

Caron Simply Soft Shadows in Fuschia Flare

and

Patons Classic Wool Worsted in Forest

and I used my ever-so-handy 5mm hook :)

You can use any yarn, or any hook for this pattern, and you can also manipulate this pattern very easily to obtain different sizes.

Have a smaller Wrist/Forearm? Just decrease the amount of chains in your foundation

Want longer Forearm Coverage? Add more “ribbing” rows (see pattern for details)

I also used a Tapestry Needle, and a stitch marker (mark the top of my chains so i know that i am joining into the correct stitch)

One Skein of yarn that has at least 150 yards to it will give you a pair of fingerless Mitts (with hopefully some yarn leftover; i had leftover yarn every time)

Also one mitt should only take about a hour to a hour and a half.
But I know we all crochet at a different pace :)
Happy Hooking :)
