Jessie the Elephant is a sweet girly pattern and I like the versatility of this pattern because it can be modified to be a boy or plain elephant aswell

Stitches and abbreviations you will need to know
Mr-magic ring
Sc-single crochet
Inc- increase
Dec-decrease
Cs-camel stitch
Ch-chain
Dc-double crochet
Hdc-half double crochet
Hdc Inc- half double crochet increase
Blo-back loop only
Flo-front loop only
Fo- fasten off

You will need:
3.5mm crochet hook, scissors, stitch markers, darning needle and Polly fill for Stuffing
20g(approximately 50g if you make the plain version)light grey dk yarn, 20g pink(or blue for the boy) 4ply yarn (some will be held together where stated in the pattern), <1m each black and white yarn for embroidering facial features, 8mm safety eyes
