Jester Queen
The Jester Queen is quite a handful! Always joking around, but don’t get on her bad side!
She is part of a series of sassy, sexy and cute crochet girls!
I’ve designed my Jester Queen using Light Worsted yarn, but you can use other types of yarn if you prefer. Finished size in Light worsted yarn is 6 inches (15 cm).
This is an Intermediate skilled pattern as stitches required include:
• Slip Stitch
• Chain Stitch
• Single Crochet (US)
• Increasing
• Decreasing
• 3inc/3dec
• hdc/dc/trc
• Working with wire
Materials needed:
• Crochet hook size 2,5 mm
• Sewing needle + Scissors
• Wire ±1 mm / 18 or 19 Gauge + tape
• Pins
• Stitch markers and running stitch markers
(scrap piece of yarn)
• Fiber fill
• Q-tips, or other items to stabilize the neck
• Cocktail stick, or q-tip (for hammer handle)
• Tiny rubber band (optional)
• Blue copic marker or blue pastel chalk +brush
• Yarn: Light Worsted in the colors:
Black, red, white, brown, grey, dark red (lips)
These are the colors I used:
Red : Scheepjes Colour crafter - 1010 Amsterdam Black: Scheepjes Colour crafter - 1002 Ede
White: Scheepjes Colour crafter - 1005 Barneveld
Brown : Scheepjes Colour crafter - 1709 Burum
Grey : Scheepjes Colour crafter - 1063 Rotterdam
Dark Red: World of Yarn - Malaga Red
