Jette
Jette is knitted top-down. You start at the neckline, which has a rolled edge. By working shortened rows, the neckline is worked higher at the back. The yoke pattern is knitted with two colors and runs into the body and sleeves. The sleeves narrow slightly. The sweater can be knitted with short or long sleeves.
Yarn: Fjallalopi by Ístex (100% wool, 150 m / 50 g)
Main Color: MC 5 (5, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7) x Color 3056 Grey Sky
Contrast Colors: CC1: 1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2) x Color 3042 Ginger, CC2: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2) x Color 3054 Frost Grey, CC3: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2) x Color 3058 Gravel Grey
Please note that you’ll need more yarn if you knit longer sleeves or a longer body.
Recommended needles: 3 mm / US 2½ and 3.5 mm / US 4 circular needles (80 and 40 cm, or a set of double-pointed needles for the sleeves, unless you’re using the Magic Loop method). I like to use a needle system with interchangeable tips.
Gauge: 20 sts x 28 rounds = 4x4 inches / 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch in rounds with needle 3.5 mm / US 4 after washing and blocking.
Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
The size for the sweater should be chosen so that the finished chest circumference is 15-25 cm / 6 -10“ wider than the actual measured chest circumference. The cover model wears a size 4, with a body height of 1.68 cm. The sweater has a positive ease of 20 cm / 8“ on her. Before beginning your project measure yourself around your bust (or the widest part of your upper body) to determine which size to knit.
Bust Circumference Sweater:: 104 (112, 120, 124, 128, 132, 144,156) cm / 41 (44, 47¼, 49, 50¼, 52, 56¾, 61½ )“
57 cm / 22½“
Jette wird top down gestrickt.
Grundfarbe:: MC 5 (5, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7) x Fb. 3056 Grey Sky
Kontrastfarben: CC1: 1 (1,1,1, 2, 2, 2) x Fb. 3042 Ginger, CC2: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2) x Fb. 3054 Frost Grey, CC3: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2) x Fb. 3058 Gravel Grey
