This bear can be knit in any yarn, but needs to be knit at a very tight gauge so that when you separate the doubleknit fabric, and stuff the bear, you won’t see the stuffing. Downsize your needles, e.g. I worked Brown Sheep bulky on size 7 US needles, not 10.5 US, and the bears turned out 6.5 inches tall.
