This started out as a challenge to see what I could come up with when handed this beautiful skein of copper colored yarn with a metallic touch added in. I also received a beautiful skein of fruity colored yarn from the same dyer that just went so well with the copper that I had to figure out a way to incorporate it into the design.

The shawl is worked from one side to the other with a normal rhythm of increases until you hit the central section. Short rows (no wrapping) are used to give a chevron look to the center and add a bit more texture. The final side is the opposite of the first.
