Jiji the cat is one of my favourite Studio Ghibli characters. I couldn’t resist knitting him up and sharing this fabulous cat toy pattern on my blog. His body and tail are knitted in the round on 4mm DPNS and all you’ll really need is one ball of black DK yarn! Knit his ears on straight 4mm needles, sew them all together and you’ll have your own adorable black cat toy.

I also love using felt in my work, which I’ve done for the eyes and nose. The pattern includes an A4 download (from google drive) that can easily be printed out for these.

What you’ll need:
1 x 100g Ball of Black DK Yarn
A small amount of Purple DK yarn for the inner ears
4mm DPNS
4mm Straight Needles
White Felt
Black Felt
Pink Felt
Toy Stuffing
Fabric Glue

I hope you all enjoy the pattern, if you have any queries just drop me an email at info@sincerelylouise.co.uk

I also adore sharing your finished projects on my instagram and twitter - find me @sincerelylouise ^_^ or send me a request, what should my next free knitting pattern be? More Studio Ghibli? Maybe a Totoro!!?! Who knows!
