This knitting pattern creates a festive Christmas stocking, complete with a decorative cuff of ridges and tassels.

The Jingle Stocking is basically a sock, but bigger! In fact, if you’re an aspiring sock knitter, this pattern will help you learn the basics. I use circular needles and magic loop to knit my stockings, but the pattern includes instructions for both this method and double-pointed needles.

Materials Needed
— 1 ball Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick, or your favourite super bulky yarn
— US11 (8.0 mm) needles, 30” circulars or double-pointed needles
— tapestry needle
-- stitch marker
-- waste yarn and crochet hook (if using double-pointed needles)
