This pattern is inspired by Jinshi from The Apothecary Diaries. 5 ply milk cotton and a 3.0mm hook was used to design this pattern but feel free to use whichever yarn and corresponding hook you’d like!

Materials needed

3.0 mm crochet hook
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Embroidery scissors
Fabric or UHU glue (optional for hair)
Polyfill stuffing

For regular Jinshi:
2x 10mm dark purple resin buttons/safety eyes

For kirakira Jinshi:
Eyes: black yarn
Cheeks: light pink yarn

Yarn
Hair: dark purple yarn
Shoes: black yarn
Inner robe: lilac blue yarn
Inner shirt: small amount of white yarn
Hair bun: light grey yarn
Outer robe & belt: dark blue yarn
Outer robe accents: royal yellow yarn
Skin: beige yarn
