This is a unisex pattern with a girl’s size and a boy’s size. The Angus bull on the back is worked in intarsia, the yoke trim is stranded, and the faux pockets and bridle are embroidered. The yoke and sleeves are written out; the body is charted.

Yarn:

• 15 yards green
• 48 yards tan
• 2 yards orange
• 8 yards black
• small amount of white to embroider bridle

Needles and gauge: The boy’s size is made on #1 needles at a gauge of 8 st per inch. The girl’s size is made on #0 needles at a gauge of 9 st per inch.

Additional materials: 5 small buttons for each sweater

The sweater is worked in top-down raglan style. The only seams are the sleeve seams.
